ProMods Europe: A3 & Würzburg

Germany’s motorway network is one of the most recognizable in Europe, and the A3, running through the heart of Bavaria, is no exception.

Today we’re giving you a first look at a rework of the A3 corridor in the Würzburg area, covering the stretch around one of the region’s most significant interchanges and the roads that feed into it. It’s an area many of you will have passed through countless times, and we think it’s well overdue this level of attention.

A Modern Refresh

The core of this rework is accuracy. Road geometry across the area has been revisited to better reflect the real-world layout of the A3 corridor near Würzburg, with particular attention paid to the interchange design in this section of the Autobahn. Junctions that previously felt approximate now sit much closer to their real counterparts, with improved carriageway flow and more faithful slip road geometry throughout.

Alongside the structural work, the area has received a thorough visual refresh. Scenery and roadside vegetation have been updated to better capture the character of this part of Bavaria; the rolling, lightly wooded terrain that frames the A3 as it passes through the region. Signage and assets have also been brought up to standard, with accurate German motorway signage replacing older placeholder elements and contributing to the overall sense that this is a road you could genuinely place on a map.

Introducing Würzburg

At road level, the service provision along this stretch has been reworked to better reflect what drivers would actually find here. A small portion of Würzburg’s industrial character has now been brought to life with new custom prefabs to introducing a more believable commercial and industrial presence to the surrounding area. It’s the kind of roadside detail that makes a motorway feel lived-in rather than decorative.

We’re pleased with how this section of the A3 has come together, and it’s representative of the broader approach we’re taking to Germany as we continue to raise the bar across the map. As always, we thank you for your continued support.

ProMods Trailer & Company Pack: Gas Stations

One of the most visible aspects of any road trip, virtual or real, is the fuel stations. They’re a constant presence on motorways and highways across Europe, and their branding is deeply familiar to anyone who has driven through the continent. With the next release of the Trailer & Company Pack, we’re expanding our real-world gas station coverage significantly, and today we want to give you a closer look at what that means.

Beyond the Forecourt

The Trailer & Company Pack (TCP)’s approach to gas stations is built around a dual layer system. For every real-world brand that we introduce, a corresponding de-branded asset exists for players who use ProMods without the TCP active. Regardless of your setup, we are making sure that you see a high-quality gas station model.
The focus is on the TCP, ensuring that these gas stations carry their real identity, colours, signage, and feel that you’d recognize from the real road.

Bringing real brands into the game isn’t always straightforward. Some existing station designs within ETS2 are generic, and capturing the feel of a real forecourt sometimes means revisiting the structure, signage, or assets from scratch. The goal throughout has been the same though: ensuring authenticity when using the Trailer & Company Pack.

Across the Continent

Real-World gas station branding is already present through the first phase of this project, which exists across France, Germany and Italy. Our aim moving forward is to cover every “DLC Area” from SCS, with coverage coming in the next TCP release through Greece, Western Balkans, Scandinavia, “benelux” and Nordic Horizons areas.
Work on Iberia is also underway, and we hope to have that region covered too.

Gas stations are one of piece of a much larger picture. The TCP’s goal is to bring real-world branding through every corner of the ETS2 experience; from the companies that you deliver to, to the billboards and rest stops along your route.

These updated gas station works are planned for inclusion in the next release of the Trailer & Company Pack.
We thank you for your continued support, as always.

ProMods Europe: A4 Rework Preview

One of France’s most important highway corridors is getting the attention it deserves. With the planning starting for the next iteration of ProMods, we’re pleased to share a first look at our rework of the A4 Motorway, stretching from Reims in the hart of the Champagne region all the way Easy to Strasbourg on the banks of the Rhine.
This is a route that connects two of France’s most historically and culturally distinct cities, and we’ve worked to ensure that the drive reflects that.

The Landscape

The A4 is one of the major arteries of eastern France, and it’s ground-up overhaul has been created to more accurately reflect the real-world alignment of the corridor, with improved carriageway layouts, more accurate interchange designs, and smoother transitions between the motorway and surrounding networks.

Eastern France is quietly stunning, and this corridor captures that well. From the open vine-lined plains around Reims that give way to the denser, more wooded terrain as you push further east; the scenery has been reworked to match that character. The drive should now feel purposeful, a major route through Eastern France.

Services & Tolls

Long-Distance driving means long-distance rest stops, and the A4 delivers that. We’ve reworked the service areas, and rest stops along this stretch to feel much closer to their real-life counterparts: functional, familiar, and appropriate positioned for a route of this scale.

and of course.. it would not be France if we did not mention Toll Booths! The A4 has no shortage of them. We’ve made sure to represent these faithfully, because authenticity cuts both ways.

The A4 Rework is planned to release as part of the next ProMods Europe update. We thank you for your continued support as always, and look forward to sharing more of what’s coming soon!

ProMods x TruckersMP: April Fools Event

Yes, we owe you an explanation.
Unfortunately, yesterday’s post about Poznań’s textures was, as some of you may have suspected, not entirely representative of our usual development standards. dirt.mat is a wonderful material and we stand by everything we said about it, but ProMods Europe v2.82 will, we can confirm, feature more than one texture. We appreciate your patience during this difficult time. Happy April Fools!

However, the fun doesn’t stop there. April Fools fell on Wednesday this year, and we appreciate that not everyone had the chance to catch everything we got up to. So in the spirit of giving the joke the audience it deserves, we’ve teamed up with TruckersMP to keep things going a little longer.

The Kirkenes Quarry

If you know ProMods… you know Kirkenes. The quarry road is one of the most iconic stretches in the entire ProMods community and a TruckersMP staple, a rite of passage, and a road that has humbled more than a few overconfident drivers over the years.
For this event, we’ve done something to it, the facelift of the Kirkenes Quarry vs E67 Route. We’re not going to tell you what. The screenshots only tell a very small part of the story, and honestly, discovering the rest for yourself is half the fun.

It’s unique, it’s very on-brand for April 1st, and we’re quietly very proud of it. We’d also recommend making sure your in-game wallet is in good health before you set off.

For those who aren’t already familiar with the recent “ProMods LIVE” series, we occasionally livestream elements within Promods to both our Twitch & YouTube channels.

On April 1st, we took to the streams to showcase some of what laid within this Update.. and well.. it did not disappoint! We said hello to multiple team members and learned what autopilot for trucks looks like.. wait.. what?

Let Me Join!?

The event is live now and runs until the 6th of April 2026; giving you the whole weekend to experience it. All you need to do is fire up TruckersMP and jump onto the ProMods server. That’s it. No special setup, no additional downloads. Just load in and head north.
We hope to see you on the road, or in the skies.. honestly, whatever you make possible during this event. “Trust me bro.”
