ProMods Europe: A4 Rework Preview

One of France’s most important highway corridors is getting the attention it deserves. With the planning starting for the next iteration of ProMods, we’re pleased to share a first look at our rework of the A4 Motorway, stretching from Reims in the hart of the Champagne region all the way Easy to Strasbourg on the banks of the Rhine.
This is a route that connects two of France’s most historically and culturally distinct cities, and we’ve worked to ensure that the drive reflects that.

The Landscape

The A4 is one of the major arteries of eastern France, and it’s ground-up overhaul has been created to more accurately reflect the real-world alignment of the corridor, with improved carriageway layouts, more accurate interchange designs, and smoother transitions between the motorway and surrounding networks.

Eastern France is quietly stunning, and this corridor captures that well. From the open vine-lined plains around Reims that give way to the denser, more wooded terrain as you push further east; the scenery has been reworked to match that character. The drive should now feel purposeful, a major route through Eastern France.

Services & Tolls

Long-Distance driving means long-distance rest stops, and the A4 delivers that. We’ve reworked the service areas, and rest stops along this stretch to feel much closer to their real-life counterparts: functional, familiar, and appropriate positioned for a route of this scale.

and of course.. it would not be France if we did not mention Toll Booths! The A4 has no shortage of them. We’ve made sure to represent these faithfully, because authenticity cuts both ways.

The A4 Rework is planned to release as part of the next ProMods Europe update. We thank you for your continued support as always, and look forward to sharing more of what’s coming soon!

ProMods x TruckersMP: April Fools Event

Yes, we owe you an explanation.
Unfortunately, yesterday’s post about Poznań’s textures was, as some of you may have suspected, not entirely representative of our usual development standards. dirt.mat is a wonderful material and we stand by everything we said about it, but ProMods Europe v2.82 will, we can confirm, feature more than one texture. We appreciate your patience during this difficult time. Happy April Fools!

However, the fun doesn’t stop there. April Fools fell on Wednesday this year, and we appreciate that not everyone had the chance to catch everything we got up to. So in the spirit of giving the joke the audience it deserves, we’ve teamed up with TruckersMP to keep things going a little longer.

The Kirkenes Quarry

If you know ProMods… you know Kirkenes. The quarry road is one of the most iconic stretches in the entire ProMods community and a TruckersMP staple, a rite of passage, and a road that has humbled more than a few overconfident drivers over the years.
For this event, we’ve done something to it, the facelift of the Kirkenes Quarry vs E67 Route. We’re not going to tell you what. The screenshots only tell a very small part of the story, and honestly, discovering the rest for yourself is half the fun.

It’s unique, it’s very on-brand for April 1st, and we’re quietly very proud of it. We’d also recommend making sure your in-game wallet is in good health before you set off.

For those who aren’t already familiar with the recent “ProMods LIVE” series, we occasionally livestream elements within Promods to both our Twitch & YouTube channels.

On April 1st, we took to the streams to showcase some of what laid within this Update.. and well.. it did not disappoint! We said hello to multiple team members and learned what autopilot for trucks looks like.. wait.. what?

Let Me Join!?

The event is live now and runs until the 6th of April 2026; giving you the whole weekend to experience it. All you need to do is fire up TruckersMP and jump onto the ProMods server. That’s it. No special setup, no additional downloads. Just load in and head north.
We hope to see you on the road, or in the skies.. honestly, whatever you make possible during this event. “Trust me bro.”

ProMods Europe: Dirt Materials

Poznań is one of our most ambitious areas to date; nine years in the making, and a city we were incredibly proud of to release with the most recent release of ProMods Europe.
With v2.82 on the horizon, we wanted to take a moment to revisit it and highlight something that we feel doesn’t always get the attention it deserves, with an exclusive new update: the textures.

To pay homage to these much loved textures, we’ve even given you the ability to download them as wallpapers for your mobile or desktop!

Beautiful Uniformity

Poland is a country of remarkable visual consistency, and nowhere is that more apparent than in the materials that make up its urban environments. In v2.82, we’ve made the decision to lean fully into this, reworking a significant portion of Poznań’s surface materials to feature what we consider to be one of the most versatile and characterful textures in the ETS2 engine: dirt.mat.

At first glance, dirt.mat is easy to overlook. It is, on the surface, a simple material. But spend a little time with it, really spend time with it, and you begin to appreciate the quiet confidence it brings to an environment. It doesn’t demand attention. It simply exists, reliably and completely, across roads, buildings, pavements, and landmarks alike. We feel this reflects something true about Poznań, and indeed about Poland more broadly.

The result is a city that feels cohesive in a way that detailed, varied texturing simply cannot achieve. Every surface speaks the same language. There is a harmony to it that our team has found genuinely moving.

We hope you enjoy exploring the region when v2.82 releases. Much like South Dakota’s natural beauty, sometimes the most understated environments are the ones that stay with you longest.

Quarry Changes. Immediately.

We’re also pleased to share that something special for the Kirkenes Quarry road; one of the most iconic routes in the ProMods community, and a stretch of road that holds a particular place in the hearts of TruckersMP players everywhere.

We’ll have a full delayed announcement on this very soon, but safe to say, if you’ve driven it before, you’ll want to make time for it again (and don’t wait, it’s on TruckersMP right now!)

You can check it out right now, as we couldn’t wait for this Update: https://truckersmp.com/

As always, we thank you for your continued support, we can’t wait to tell you more soon!

ProMods Trailer & Company Pack: 2026 Trailer

Over the years, the ProMods Trailer & Company Pack (TCP) has evolved alongside the ProMods map itself. As our main project continue to grow, we’ve taken the opportunity to refine the purpose of the TCP and focus it on what many players enjoy the most: real world brands and companies within ETS2.

With the introduction of “Project De-Brand” across the ProMods map, the TCP now serves as the primary place where real companies are represented within the ProMods ecosystem. To showcase this renewed direction, we’ve created a more generic trailer for the Trailer & Company Pack heading into 2026, highlighting the different ways real-world brands appear throughout the game. Our future goal for the Trailer & Company pack is to transform it into a mod that will cover every aspect of the ETS2 world, transforming every brand in game, from the companies that you serve while delivering cargo, to fuel stations, advertisements, scenery brands and more.

Totems & Stations

One of the most noticable additions to the TCP is the presence of real-world fuel brands across Europe. This includes detailed gas station totems and pendant signage, which help make motorway service areas feel much closer to their real-life counterparts.

From highway rest stops to smaller roadside stations, these branded elements add a much-appreciated layer of familiarity and immersion, especially to long-distance driving.

Companies

Beyond fuel stations, the TCP also introduces company branding; the ones that you can visit for cargo pickups and deliveries.
These include recognizable logistics and retail brands, such as large distribution centers, warehouses and depots; designed to integrate naturally into the existing map.

Scenery

Not every company and stop needs to be reachable.
The TCP also populates the billboards and signage across the map, including businesses that you may drive past. Whilst these locations might not be accessible to players, they play an important role in shaping the enviornment.

The Trailer & Company Pack will continue to evolve as new companies, brands, and visual elements are slowly added over time. With it’s renewed focus on real-world branding, the TCP now stands as the perfect companion to the ProMods series; offering players a much clearer choice between a lore-friendly map experience or a world filled with real-world companies.
