ProMods Maghreb: Tunisia Preview Trailer

With Christmas just around the corner, we’ve got a small festive gift for you 🎄
Today, we’re excited to share the very first trailer for ProMods Maghreb: offering an early look at what awaits you on the roads of Tunisia.

This is a preview trailer, focused on the atmosphere to expect. A full release trailer will follow closer to launch, but for now, we wanted to give you a genuine glimpse of the world we’ve been building.

A New Chapter

As previously announced, the Maghreb Map project was generously gifted to the ProMods team and has since become ProMods Maghreb; our first official step into North Africa.

The project brings Tunisia and Morocco into Euro Truck Simulator 2, either as a standalone map or seamlessly connected with ProMods Europe via ferry routes. This opens up an entirely new region, culture, and driving experience unlike anything currently available in ETS2.

Spotlight on Tunisia

This first trailer focuses on Tunisia, showcasing several key locations that will be available at release:
Tunis: the capital city, blending modern urban roads with historical surrounding
Enfidha: a growing coastal and transport hub!
Utique: offering a quieter, more rural contrast along Tunisia’s northern coast

From Mediterranean coastal roads to sunlit cities and distinctive architecture, Tunisia offers a fresh driving experience that feels immediately different from Europe; yet naturally connected to it.

What’s Next?

This is just the beginning. A gameplay trailer is still to come, followed by the full trailer (and maybe some bits inbetween!) once we’re ready to share launch information.

Stay tuned for further announcements as we move closer to release. The work on Maghreb has been progressing steadily behind the scenes, and we’re looking forward to giving you a chance to explore these regions very soon.

Happy holidays, and stay tuned for more Maghreb news very soon! 🎁🚛

ProMods Winter Convoy: Recap

On December 7th, we gathered once again for a special ProMods Community Convoy; this time taking players across our recently developed Vancouver Island in ProMods Canada. Starting in Kamloops, one of the oldest and most iconic cities in the project, we made our way south through the Lower Mainland, crossed via Victoria, and continued all the way to Port Hardy, one of the newest additions to the map.

For many players, especially those on TruckersMP, this convoy offered a rare chance to drive alongside several members of the ProMods Team; a great opportunity to enjoy the roads together, answer questions, and celebrate the release of new areas. Additionally, plenty of fun was had on Twitch & YouTube!

Straight from the Community!

The turnout was fantastic: we saw around 100 participants joining the drive, including drivers from multiple VTCs across the TruckersMP community including Prime Logistics, Pink Ribbon VTC, NOWT, and Global Cargo. From long-established companies to smaller groups bringing their members along for a relaxed evening drive, it was a diverse and lively gathering of players who share a passion for trucking and modding.

The roads were busy, lively, and full of holiday cheer; exactly the kind of community spirit we love to see during events like this!

A Magical Crossing Over the Strait of Georgia

Running a community convoy through a ferry terminal has the potential to turn into absolute chaos, even with careful planning. So instead of risking a multi-hour queue or a floating traffic jam, we decided to do something a little more creative:
A completely fictional, magical scenic road crossing the Strait of Georgia; built solely for this event.

This temporary route allowed the convoy to stay together and maintain smooth flow, while still offering a beautiful, atmospheric coastal drive inspired by the region. And judging by the reactions and events, it was a memorable highlight!

Convoy Control & Event Support

This event also marked the first major outing for our new Event Manager, Jess, who did an outstanding job coordinating the route, timing, and structure of the convoy.!
Additional congratulations are needed for Ghost, who helped as part of our Media Team for this event!

Huge thanks as well to our partners at TruckersMP, whose experienced Convoy Control team handled traffic management and ensured the event ran as smoothly as possible from start to finish!

A huge thank-you to everyone who participated, shared photos, streamed the event, or just hung out with us along the route. We’re looking forward to running more in the future, especially as ProMods continues to grow.

ProMods Europe: Subotica Returns

With ProMods Europe 2.80 being prepared for, we’re excited to share the return of a familiar location to the Balkans: Subotica, Serbia: now refreshed and rebuilt for the modern ProMods standard.

Subotica is a historic city located in northern Serbia, near the Hungarian border. Known for its distinctive architecture, wide roads, and multicultural character, the city has long been an important regional hub for trade and transport. Its location makes it a natural stop for international routes between Central Europe and the Balkans — and a perfect fit for ProMods.

A Fresh Return

Some of you may remember that Subotica previously existed in ProMods, but it took a break from ProMods Europe following the release of SCS Software’s West Balkans DLC. At the time, the official expansion reshaped large parts of the surrounding region, and removing Subotica allowed us to avoid conflicts while we reassessed how to best integrate it again.

Now, with the surrounding network properly established, we’ve been able to bring Subotica back with a full reskin and layout refresh, ensuring it matches both modern ProMods quality and the current SCS road network.

The Highway Connection

Alongside the city refresh, a small but important section of the E75 / A1 motorway leading into Subotica has also been included. This stretch improves connectivity to the city and better reflects real-world access from Serbia’s main north–south corridor, strengthening Subotica’s role as a regional transport hub.

Subotica’s return is another step in our ongoing efforts to refresh older regions and ensure ProMods continues to blend seamlessly with official DLC content. We’re looking forward to welcoming drivers back to one of Serbia’s most characterful cities in ProMods 2.80.

ProMods Europe: A5 & S61 Highway Gameplay Preview

We’ve got another gameplay preview coming your way today; this time featuring a small section of the A5 in Lithuania and a large newly refreshed stretch of the S61 in Poland. These roads form an important north–south corridor in Eastern Europe, and we’re excited to finally show you what’s coming.

At 4pm UTC Today (7th of December), we’ll preview some of our latest work on Europe!

The A5 may only be a small section in this preview, but it plays an important role in linking the Baltic road network together. This stretch has received refreshed road geometry, updated surroundings, improved signage, and smoother transitions that better reflect the real-world route.

The S61 is the star of today’s preview; This major Polish expressway has been receiving a large-scale refresh, and the gameplay footage shows off long, open highway driving, modern interchanges, and updated roadside detail.

As one of Poland & the Baltic’s key transport corridors, the S61 rebuild brings it in line with newer parts of the ProMods map, offering a much smoother, more immersive experience for long-distance hauls.
