France: A36 Reskin

Today we’re back with another look at ongoing improvements across France; this time focusing on the A36 motorway.

As part of our continued effort to refresh older areas of the ProMods Europe map, the A36 between Dole and the A6/A31 interchange has undergone a complete reskin, bringing it up to modern ProMods standards in both visuals and functionality.

Dole → A6/A31 Interchange

This section of the A36 has been fully reworked, starting from the gas station near Dole and ending at the rebuilt A6/A31/A36 interchange, which was previously teased in earlier development updates.

The new design offers more accurate lane layouts, improved signage, and refreshed roadside detailing: all to better capture the look and feel of French motorways.

Special Transport

The Special Transport routes in this area have been adapted to fit the new motorway layout. Drivers hauling oversized cargo will now enjoy smoother transitions and better-integrated routes along this corridor, ensuring a realistic and uninterrupted experience.

New Bâtisse Company

Alongside the motorway improvements, a new Bâtisse depot has been added near the interchange; representing highway maintenance and security operations.

This new company location gives players a practical spot to pick up and deliver cargo tied to road infrastructure, adding a touch of realism to the area’s economy.

What’s Next?

This reskin is just one of several ongoing improvements across France as we continue to enhance older parts of the map. Every refresh helps raise the overall quality bar: ensuring a smoother, more immersive experience for drivers across Europe.

Beyond the A36, our team has also been working on new updates near the Mediterranean Sea.
In real life, travelling between Spain and Italy by road involves a small “adventure”, and we’re bringing that same level of realism into ProMods. This upcoming addition will better reflect real-world routes along the southern coast, adding both variety and authenticity to your journeys through the region.

Come back for more updates soon, and keep an eye out for these changes in the next ProMods release!

ProMods Maghreb: A Closer Look

It’s been near to a year since we announced that Maghreb Map has joined forces with the ProMods Team, becoming what is now known as ProMods Maghreb: our first major venture into the African continent.

Since then, the team has been hard at work refining, optimizing, and expanding the project to deliver the quality and realism that you’ve come to expect from ProMods. And now, after months of behind the scenes development, we’re thrilled to share that version 1.0.0 is entering its final stages of beta testing.

With that milestone being reached, and the release not-too-far, let’s take a closer look at what’s been happening across Morocco and Tunisia

Salé & Rabat

We started by revisiting some of the maps oldest areas, bringing them up to modern ProMods standards. We have various images, taken from Salé, where you can see the skyline of Rabat; Morocco’s capital city, complete with recognizable landmarks such as the Mohammed VI Tower.

These improvements don’t just make the area more visually accurate, but they also deliver smoother performance and a richer regional atmosphere.

Port of Tangier Med

Next, we turned our attention to one of the regions most important logistical hubs: the Port of Tangier Med.

As your main gateway into ProMods Maghreb, when traveling from Algeciras via ProMods Europe, the port has been refined and expanded to better represent its real-world counterpart.
Expect improved detailing, signage, and optimization to ensure a seamless connection between continents.

Enfidha & Tunis

In addition to refining existing areas, the team has also been busy expanding into new territory.
Tunis; the vibrant capital of Tunisia, and the nearby coastal town of Enfidha, will both make their debut in ProMods Maghreb v.1.0.0.

From modern urban districts to seaside roads and cultural landmarks, these additions mark an exciting step in bringing North Africa to life within ETS2.

Authentic AI Experience

Realism, as you know, is at the heart of everything that we do, and that extends beyond roads and landscapes. With this update, we’re introducing a range of region-specific AI vehicles for both Morocco and Tunisia, helping to create a more immersive and authentic driving experience. Local cars, taxis, and trucks now populate the roads, making every journey feel truly North African.

What’s Next?

We know it has been quiet on the ProMods Maghreb front for a while, but rest assured that your wait is almost over.
Development is reaching its final phase and testing is in deep process. You can expect more news, previews and a release announcement very soon.

Stick around, and get ready to explore ProMods Maghreb v1.0.0

United Kingdom: Farms, Junctions & Bridges

Hey You! Today, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the latest progress in the UK, brought to you by our developer Enphyte. From farms to highways, these updates bring more realism, detail, and variety to the southwest of England. Let’s take a look at what’s new.

Bodmin Farm

Drivers can now pick up and deliver cargo at a farm just outside of Bodmin. Based on a real location, it’s been carefully replicated to reflect the workings of a typical British farmyard. Expect a mix of rural scenery and practical layouts, but don’t get too comfortable! The parking here is challenging, so precision is key.

A386-A30 Junction

One of the major intersections on the A30 is with the A386, a key connection between Plymouth and Barnstaple. This junction, along with its accompanying service station, has been recreated in detail. It’s the perfect spot for drivers to pull over, rest, and refuel before hitting the road again.

M5: Junction 27

While J27 on the M5 already existed in ProMods, it has now been rebuilt to better match its real-world counterpart. The new version is more accurate, detailed, and immersive; and who knows? Perhaps it will serve as a gateway to something bigger in the Atlantic in the future.

Dunheved Bridge

Spanning the River Tamar, the Dunheved Bridge marks the border between Cornwall and Devon. It’s a striking landmark in real life, and now it’s represented in-game as well. Drivers might miss the stunning scenery while zooming past at 70 mph; but we recommend sneaking a glance out the window as you cross.

Vancouver Island: Gameplay Preview

We’re excited to bring you an early look at the latest addition to ProMods Canada, Vancouver Island.. coming soon to American Truck Simulator. In this preview, you’ll see some of the new landscapes, road layouts, and environmental touches we’ve been working hard to polish. Everything here is still under development, things may shift, improve, or evolve before release.

At 6pm CEST, Today (19th of September), we’ll preview our work on Canada!

The ProMods team aims to capture the rugged beauty and variety of Canada’s landscapes. From lush coastal forests and misty ferry crossings to highway stretches through mountain passes; we’re fine-tuning every detail to feel both authentic and immersive.

Vancouver Island is one of the most iconic and demanding regions in our map expansion. From coastal roads and ferry crossings to rugged terrain and lush forestry, the island presents huge variety. We wanted to recreate the feeling of moving from ocean vistas and sea wind into dense forests, winding mountain roads, and small communities that feel distinct and real.

We’re gearing up for the next ProMods Canada release, and Vancouver Island is one of the regions we’re especially proud of.
Vancouver Island’s beauty is just the beginning. Stay tuned!
