ProMods 2.40 With Merged Baltics is Available Now!

Finally we have finished the merge of the new Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC with ProMods and now you can enjoy this new DLC together with our mod. This new version will therefore require users to have the new Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC installed to use it.

In this version, about 30 cities were added or improved in Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, and Sweden. We also worked on many roads and landscapes in different countries.

To reduce the files size and clean up our mod, we removed some old prefabs and models which were no longer in use or where better versions are available now. So if you use other maps in combination with ProMods, there’s a change that these add-on maps may be broken and require an update themself.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

We have decided to release version 2.40 for ETS 2 build 1.34 as that is the current and official version. ProMods 2.40 brings in the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC content and has been in development for quite a while now, so we did not want to withhold release any longer. It may take up to a month for SCS to release build 1.35, which will render this version INCOMPATIBLE.

It is your personal decision whether you want to access the new 2.40 content now, or if you wish to spare your €1 and wait until the next ProMods update will be released, which will support 1.35. This is likely to be at least six weeks away, and even more likely to be even longer to fully get all 1.35 content back in ProMods.

You can always roll back your game version in the Steam Library properties selecting “temporary_1_34 – 1.34.x for incompatible mods” – when 1.35 is out.

I'm into truck simulators for several years now and made some simple mods for "18 Wheels of Steel - Haulin". Besides being a moderator in the forum, I maintain the blog and the social media channels.
